Baseboards

Seal the trim around baseboards either by caulking around the trim with clear or paintable caulking, or by removing the trim and sealing between the wall and the floor.

 

Electrical Outlets and Switches

There are special foam gaskets, approved by Canadian Standard Association that fit between the cover plate and receptacles or switches.
